So yesterday was that American thing called thanksgiving. We had a really nice day and even better evening with our friends and roasted turkey. If there is many things that I am thankful for [listed below] there is one thing I have to add to the list and it's the weather we have here in Southern California.
Thanksgiving day was pretty phenomenal, so we went to the beach with our friend Vincent from Paris and it felt like a summer day with people tanning, swimming and enjoying the L.A. lifestyle.
I am thankful for:
:: My beautiful goddaughter Eva who is about to turn 2, to be alive and healthy after all she went trough so early in her life.
:: Having friends that I conceder family.
:: Having met the most amazing person 11 years ago in Paris and sharing my life with him. Alek
Volim Te.
:: All the things that happened to me, good and bad. Without this bumpy road I would not be the person I am today.
:: Doing a therapy so I know today that I will be able to be the person I want to be tomorrow ;-)
:: Being able to have access to food and drinking water [Unlike the 25,000 people dying everyday of malnutrition around the world]
:: For all the mistakes I have made and learned from them.
:: Being able to live the life I want.
:: Being creative in my paintings and in my life in general.
:: All the people who have been coming to this blog for the past 6 years.
:: All the people who are sharing their art and passion with us.
:: The people who loves me without knowing me.
:: The people who hates me without knowing me.
:: What Buddhists call
'instant Karma'.
:: Destiny.

So as I have mentioned yesterday among many other things, I was thankful for a wonderful day that I could share with Alek and Vincent at the beach. And because I like to share, I have snapped a couple of picture with my new panasonic camera that I am thankful for! Ok that's enough
thankfulness until next year I promise ;-)
Walking along the water is one of my favorite things to do. Along with taking photos of beautiful thing :-)

So talking about beautiful things ...

I know what you are thinking ... but I could not resist taking his picture. I thought it was
très chic to run on the beach with a
beret and a speedo ;-)

The water was not that cold, of course when people are wearing shorts, it's kind of hard to know if the water is really cold or not! Not only speedo can give you the best tan line ever but they also give you the possibility to measure the temperature of the water before you get in ;-)

Los Angeles airport is just south of Santa Monica, so it gives you the possibility to count the planes just like you would count the ship before bed ... and it works!
