OHLALA SHELTER

Shelter centers on a young man, Zach (Trevor Wright), in San Pedro, Calif., who gives up on his dream of art school in order to provide for his family In his free time he surfs, draws and hangs out with his best friend, Gabe (Ross Thomas), who lives on the wealthy side of town. When Gabe's older brother, Shaun (Brad Rowe), returns home, he is drawn to Zach's selflessness and talent. Zach falls in love with Shaun while struggling to reconcile his own desires with the needs of his family.

Directed and writen by Jonah Markowitz, the movie Shelter is an original film by HERE tv. It was shot in Malibu California and will be released on here tv and limited theaters (USA) on April 2008.

Such a good movie! I saw it at the ImageOUT festival in Rochester, NY.
