Watching David was like watching an angel sing. He made me cry.

Yes, David Archuleta is a good singer, and hopefully he'll succeed past this show, whether he's the next idol or not.

But I'm kind of disturbed how many gay men, both over 20 and 30, are swooning over this 16 year old as if he were some hot stud ready to perform with Roman Heart. I mean, seriously guys! It's one thing to admire his singing talent, but it's another to read postings elsewhere that explicitly outline what they'd like to do with David.

Wow, I just don't get all the hype about David Archuleta. OK, he has a beautiful voice, but I don't think he sings beautifully ... he doesn't move me at all when he sings, it just seems like a formula and a performance, there is no soul.

And I don't think he is hot at all - he looks a little bit like a monkey. To each his own, I suppose!
