We have met Galen Drever (below right) for the fist time at Heatherette's fashion show during the last L.A fashion week. Since we were too busy snapping photos for you guys ... we didn't have the time to hang out with this hot man before he flew back to New York. So our East Coast fashion correspondent Andrew F. sat with Galen and has asked him a few questions ...

How long have you been modeling and acting?
I started modeling and acting when I was 20, so for about 5 years now...
Which agencies represent you?
I'm with Click for print and DBA for acting (Don Buchwald & Associates.)
Where are you from?
I grew up in Tiburon which is about 20 minutes north of San Francisco. My family still lives there and I’m going back in March to visit.
What was it like shooting with Rick Day?
Rick is a great photographer and lot’s of fun to work with. He has a way of making you feel really comfortable which allowed me to relax and enjoy myself.
The recent shoot with Rick is (first picture) ..um.. very hot and revealing... What is your fitness routine?
I’m at the gym at least 5 times a week. When I’m there I like to focus on one muscle group; chest, arms, legs, etc. I also make sure to keep up with cardio and try to run for at least 30 minutes. New York winters get pretty cold so I’m usually stuck on a treadmill but prefer running outside when it’s warm enough.
Like most models and actors with a versatile look you have depth to your portfolio. What's job has given you exposure in ways you didn't expect?
A couple of years ago my agency booked me on a job for a science fiction book cover. I had no idea what to expect but the job turned out to be a lot of fun and I’m now being used for several different sci fi book series. The covers are shot and illustrated by Christian McGrath who does an awesome job and my friends are always waiting for the next installment. I like to think of myself as the Fabio of sci fi books.

What was the most exciting job for you?
I think the most exciting job I ever had was an Evian Campaign I shot recently. Basically I had to rock climb completely naked with about 20 people on set and with with my whole body painted blue. To lighten the mood the makeup artist and I came up with this idea to paint an elephant’s face on my crotch. She painted eyes, ears, and... I’ll leave the rest up to your imagination... It was really funny and we had the whole crew and photographer cracking up.
