OHLALA NEW FACES // AN INTERVIEW WITH FRANKIE

Let me give you Frankie Cappello, 6ft and 100% Italian blooded. This handsome man from New Jersey, started modeling a month ago. He is living in New York City and took some time on his new busy modeling life to answer a few questions that we have illustrated with photos by Bruno Rand, Rick Day and Justin Peery.

How did you start modeling ?

I was always interested in modeling and a friend of mine put some pressure on me to give it a shot. Her brother Ryan is a manager in NYC so I sent him so pictures, met up with him, and after a few weeks here I stand.

Tell us more about where do you come from and how do you think it will influence you in modeling ?

I come from a fairly popular town in central New Jersey (Englishtown). I don't think my town will have any influence on me modeling but my family does. My family has always been very supportive of me and I think that helps a lot.

Who is your favorite photographer ?

At this moment in my modeling career I have met a lot of great photographers. I really don't have a favorite at this time but if I had to choose one it would be Jo Lance. I had the most fun shooting for Jo. It was a great experience. I also like working with Bruno Rand and Rick Day and Justin Peery. Those are all the photographers ive worked with....hahaha

Do you have a favorite clothes and shoes brands ?

My favorite brand of shoes would have to be Aldo. It is Aldo because they have so many different styles as well as different type of shoes to choose from. My favorite brand of clothes would have to be Express. They always come out with new styles of clothing and I'm a huge fan of their t-shirts.

You are just out of college. Where do you see your self 5 years from now?

Five years from now I hope to see myself working for an investment banking firm in NYC. Hopefully living in the city and making a very good living. This is all of course if I'm not still modeling five years from now.

it's easy to hide behind anonymous comments, there is nothing wrong with being supportive to someone's dream. But somehow it seems more easy for people to generate negativity ... I will never get it. As far as I am concerned he is not my type of guy but he will definitely make it into modeling and those comments will only make him stronger .... you go boy!

I have to agree with the above comments. His look is the same in almost all the photos; head with the slight tilt and lips just neutral.

At best he'll do a handful of shoots and then disappear again; like they all do. Not being negative, its just what happens.

Not his fault - try finding that fault with the person behind the camera. Why can't sexy guys crack a smile or 'normal' pose once in a while?

If he only started a month ago I want to know what he was doing 2 months ago. Imagine how distracted you would be if you had to sit next to him a investment bankers college!!!
