Afghan Muscles smash every stereotype you ever had about Muslim identity and the devastated country of Afghanistan. The young men of Afghanistan have discovered the art of bodybuilding. In a country ravaged by war, these men still hold on to their dreams; dreams of muscle, honour and fame – absolute control of the body in a world of chaos. Thanx Greg.

This 2006 movie was directed by Andreas M. Dalsgaard a student from the European Film College in 2000-2001, and he holds a BA in Anthropology from studies at Aarhus University in Denmark and Université Denis Diderot Paris VII. It has only been released in a few Festivals.
