SO GROUCHY HAPPY TO BE IN PARIS!

We have "terribly missed" the bad weather, the bad traffic, the bad food and service in restaurants, the ridiculous prices, the lack of space (like in our super comfortable elevator, as you can see below right, it can easily fit two if you squeeze tight!). Paris hasn't changed a bit, and to match with my mood of the day (week, and probably month) I am wearing my Grouchy smurf t-shirt :-)

Yeah, 'cause the freeways and smog of LA totally outweight the art, history and beauty of Paris don't they. You two belong in West Hollywood.

For what it is worth, we just had 8" of snow here in Minneapolis, which is hardly the epicurian center of the universe, so regardless of where you are, it could be worse.
On the other hand, I've lived around the world and this is the place to which I contentedly return. Every place has its advantages, and disadvantages. I'm just glad there are guys like Steph and Alek who create interesting lives for themselves and share them with us.
BTW, I'm sure you think I'm crazy as when I want a break, I head north into the wilderness on the Ontario boarder. For me anyway, that is much sweeter than L.A. or Paris. Takes all kinds, no?
Keep up the good work!

I agree with Floy Joy...bad weather I can accept, but bad food?!...Sure, there are high end restaurants in LA, as there are anywhere, that are probably delicious, but to say Paris has bad food is just wrong...franchement vous deux, j'aurais attendu plus de deux mecs qui se portent d'une manière tellement globalisé et expérimenté...Marthe Distel is rolling in his grave right about now...tisk tisk
