DID MADONNA REALLY LEAVE CANNES REFUSING TO PAY FOR HER STAY AT THE CARLTON HOTEL!?
Apparently Madonna was furious after a camera crew from le petit journal of Canal + sneaked into her Carlton hotel room right before her arrival in Cannes.
Le Petit Journal aired the guided tour of Madonna's suite by Carlton's official on May 20th (you can watch the video HERE) showing the specially provided purified water, gym equipment, a temperature fixed at 30 degrees Celsius, flowers and scented candles and blinders against any ray of light that she had requested.
According to French newspaper Le Parisien, Madonna was so angry with the hotel staff, she refused to pay the $95,000 since the hotel broke the confidentiality they were supposed to provide during her stay. Very classy attitude from the Carlton's Hotel management!
If those are her requirements for staying in a hotel, why would she be outraged at having them made public? Why would she have a confidentiality agreement?
