LACMA // LOS ANGELES COUNTY MUSEUM OF ART

The Broad contemporary art museum was inaugurated a couple of months ago. Since we have been doing some traveling and enjoyed the great weather the rest of the time, this cloudy day was the perfect day to pay a visit to the new LACMA addition located on Wilshire and Fairfax.

The new building is stunning, and we were quite pleased with some of the current exhibitions. We have started by Jeff Koones. I am crazy about his balloon stainless-steel sculptures !!!! On the same level there is a couple of great Andy Warhol's paintings.

We then moved to the other buildings to see Philip-Lorca diCorcia's photography. The "Hustlers" series is just fantastic. Here are a couple of images from this exhibition.

There's also some great Auguste Rodin's sculptures, that really inspired us for our upcoming photoshoots. It was a really cool afternoon and we immortalized it with our own contemporary self portrait ;-)
