OHLALA EDIMBURG'S HOT SUMMER LAUNCH PARTY!
12,000 people gathered in Edinburgh, Scotland last night for the Beltane Fire Society Festival. The procession which celebrates the ending of winter is a revival of the ancient Celtic festival of Beltane, the Gaelic name for the month of May. "The nudity happens late at night so any parents who stay with their children to see the festival that late are probably not concerned by it" says Robyn Hambrook, festival's spokeswoman. The event has also attracted controversy in previous years, with local residents complaining about the noise and risk of fire.
