OMG DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES ... 5 YEARS LATER!!!!!!

Last night was the season finale of Desperate Housewives, two hours of one of our favorite shows :-) The conclusion was pretty shocking! A five years flash forward that leaved me speachless ....

As you can see, former Queer as Folk hunk Brian Kinney aka Gale Harold will be moving to Wisteria Lane next season. I was not expecting Katherine's secret to be this moving. OMG I can't believe Mike is gone !!!!! At least from her life ... what happened to baby Maynard !!!? And look at Gabrielle, the caliente latina is gone ... she is now a latina mama with two kids !!!! A new Van De Camp family business ... I can't wait for next year ;-)

One has to really wonder what happens to Mike Delfino since Susan's future husband, or boyfriend, is someone else! Also, yeah, what happened to Gabby? And why does she have a relatively unattractive, overweight daughter? And hopefully her name isn't Guadalupe! But no doubt Bree's son, Andrew, who looks hot all decked out in his suit, must be really popular with the men of the future. ;-)

But still: What happens to Mike Delfino??!

Absolutely loved this finale. The conversation was as witty and funny as usual, if not better. The storyline was good too.

And the flash forward turned out better than I expected. Now I can't wait to see what happens in the future. But my guess would be they are flashing forward now so that they can do flash backs in the coming season.

marcia cross recently gave an interview that made it sound as if the fast forward was going to hold for the next season - she said something about how relieved she was to be done with her character's hair flip, that it had finally gone out of style.

My guess is Mike found out Maynard is really Ian's son and he left her. Was it really established the Gale Harold character is married to Susan? He is only signed up for a few episodes from what I read. I thought Gaby couldn't have children? That would explain why the girl is/looks older than 5. They certainly are chubby little things.. Karma for Gaby I guess, being beautiful and having ugly kids.

Guess writers got a silly idea that they could use flashes in desperate wives to extend it to more than 5 seasons.
That worked out so well for Lost show...but here cmon they cant be serious.
Flashes forw/back are so confusing. I think people are gonna get confused with it eventually nothing is gonna make sence anymore and they will get bored and tired of thinking if they are looking at flash forw or back and most of us will just change the damn channel or get on with our business as usual.

btw about Eva Longoria without any makeup on her face in the final episode - I was speechless and then this came out of my mouth - HOLY CRAP -)

OMG! i thought the finale was great! there has to be a 5th season! Nobody has asked but Where’s Edie!? why wasn’t she in the 5 years later, i know they dissowned her but c’mon did edie really go that easily?
