PAMPLONA FIESTAS // BULLS AND SANGRIA MAKES SPAIN GO CRAZY!
I am not crazy about bull fights but I have nothing against the bull runs because this time it's the people who get their asses kicked !!! Those of you from Spain know how things can get a "little" crazy with the heat, the sangria and the bulls.
Those fiestas may sound like fun (for some ... not for me) but one man has died and some 90 people have been injured in the opening hours of the bull-running festival. Which you cannot compare to the bull fight where every single bull dies.
The fiestas of Pamplona, is a tradition that dates back to 1591, every year it attracts tens of thousands of foreign visitors for nine days. Of course they come more for the sangria than the bulls today ... and it is a real street orgy !!!!

I'm with Marty; isn't Europe supposed to be advanced, civilized, etc. What kind of sick idiot takes pleasure out of another being's pain, for the pure reason of "entertainment." I'm rooting for the bulls; too bad we can't give them weapons, or hobble the jackasses running around taunting them so that they actually have a fair chance. Things like this make me ashamed to be part of the human race.

I´m from Pamplona. Sanfermines are great!
But two of the photographs (the ones with the bulls and the "pool") displayed aren´t from this big fiesta.
