MICHAEL PHELPS WINS RECORD 8 GOLD MEDALS
Et voila! Olympic history has just been written this morning in Beijing in the 4x100 medley. 23 year old Michael Phelps surpassed Mark Spitz's epic 1972 feat of seven golds. He set or was part of seven world records. And, with 14, he has won five more golds than any other Olympian in history.
It would be great if Michael can inspire young people to join the swimming family ... Not very fair-play Spitz declared that it is unfair to compare Phelps with him since in 1972 Spitz won 100% of his races when Michael Phelps who did 17 races just won half of it ... come on Spitz time to let go ...

Does anyone actually think Phelps is attractive? I think he's disgustingly ugly. Nice body though.

"Disgustingly ugly"? Wtf dude? Sure, Phelps isn't destined to be a model on the runway but by no means is he ugly. And rest assured, he can probably kick your ass in just about any sport out there, or plain just kick your ass you pompous prick.

He would beat most of us in any sports, but that's not the point, Josh. It's his face, it really needs getting used to.
Don't kill the messenger.

This is precisely why I have so very few gay friends... God, what does it matter what his face looks like? He's an Olympic champion of epic proportions, humble beyond words for someone of his skill, and a genuinely nice guy, and all the fags can focus on is how he looks.
If it takes killing every messenger in the world to get the point across that looks are not the be all and end all, then consider me the executioner.

If Spitz won all of his races at his Olympics then he' still the best swimmer in history.

Hey, nobody disputes that, Josh. But you have to acknowledge that this site isn't about character, sport skills etc., but about looks.
And looks is certainly not everything to me, far from it.
It must be allowed to dislike Phelps. And what'S your source that he would be nice? I've read about how nice he would be, but often even spoiled people are regarded as nice.

I love Phelps, face and all. He's one of the perfect American specimens, and only because he's not perfect. Look at what he's achieved-far more then anyone sitting here reading about him, myself most definetly included-and he looks like the boy next door, aside from his bangin' body. And Spitz needs to forget it. The medals are what matter, those are what go down in history, and Phelps won it. Maybe in thirty years some hotshot will go and win nine medals...that's how the world works.
