NEW ZEALAND RUGBY HUNK SONNY BILL WILLIAMS FACED JAIL FOR MOVING TO FRANCE
One of the hottest New Zealand rugby player Sonny Bill Williams has decided to take a better offer from the Toulon club in France, a two-year contract reported to be worth $3 million and walk out of his team.

This makes him the most hated man in Australia today. Sonny Bill Williams secretly boarded a plane and defected to a French rugby union team on Saturday. To a nation for which sport is not just a national pastime but a religion for which they show an almost fanatical devotion, Sonny Bill's defection is seen as nothing short of criminal.
In fact the head of the National Rugby League said today that Williams, who was due to play against St George Illawarra, might face criminal charges. The league is to go to the Supreme Court to stop Williams playing elsewhere and Mr Gallop says that the New Zealand international may also be arrested and have his assets in Australia seized.
But today the Sonny Bill Williams saga came to a predictable, yet tortured, end with the Bulldogs accepting a $750,000 cash settlement in return for the release of their former No.1 star. "We've put a full stop today on the Sonny Bill Williams file, we've placed this chapter into the club's history and archives," Bulldogs chief executive Todd Greenberg said.
At the end it was just a question of money in both ends ... Anyway welcome to France Sonny!
