BAI LING TURNS LESBIAN FOR 'DIM SUM FUNERAL'
WORLD PREMIERE AT PUSAN INT. FILM FESTIVAL
Bai Ling plays a lesbian in her new movie called Dim Sum Funeral. The movie premieres at the prestigious 13th Pusan International Film Festival on October 3, 2008 at Lotte Cinema 5 in Busan, South Korea. An additional screening is added on Monday, October 6.
The movie is about family, wrapped in and around a traditional Chinese funeral. An Irish funeral has what’s called a wake. A Jewish funeral has what’s called sitting shiva. As for a traditional Chinese funeral, well, that is something else entirely...
The movie written by our dear friend and talented Hollywood screenplay-writer Donald Martin, directed by Anna Chi and starring:
Bai Ling as the "free-spirited lesbian" ... Steph Song, voted by Asian FHM readers as the No. 1 Sexiest Woman in the World. Russell Wong, the hunky Russell Wong that we have seen recently in the movie "The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor", Lisa Lu, Kelly Hu and two-time Academy Award nominated Talia Shire, for her roles in The Godfather and as the wife of boxer Rocky Balboa in the Rocky movies.
