CARNET DE VOYAGE: GLADIATORS LAND & HOLY SINGS
We are having an amazing time in Rome, the city is just as you would imagine, the people are really nice, the guys are HOT! the food is a delight, last night we went to Gusto Piazza Augusto, if you are going to Rome don't miss it.
Above a picture of the view from my office where I am writing this post from right now. Life is good when you have no boss and your office is the thinest laptop computer ever made, with a view on the Roman rooftops!
But the point was not to spend time at the office today, so we went to the Citta del Vaticano, located on the other side of the river.
It was too late to visit the Sistine Chapel (you have to know that they close the doors at 4pm) so we will go and visit it on monday ... I am really excited since it will be my first time looking at this masterpiece with my own eyes ...
While walking out the Vatican, I was waiting for a sign from above and I got it from the back of a bus ... ;-) Our next destination will be the Coliseum, the land of the Gladiators ... Will Smith said so!
It was a really great day, and I am so happy that we could make it to the Roman Empire before going back to the Movie Empire, Hollywood that is.
Love the Macbook Air!

Try the "after-hours" Vatican tour. It is supposed to be fabulous -- from an architectural / historical perspective.
