CARNET DE VOYAGE: LA DOLCE VITA IN ROMA
Welcome to Rome, Italy, where we are enjoying an extended weekend. Our hotel is just amazing "Hotel de Russie" I know it does not sound like the most Italian place but believe me it can not get more Roman-tic than that. Let me give you a tour our our Roman home for the next few days.
Our room is on the top floor with a great terrace overlooking the city and Piazza del Popolo. I don't think it can get better than that!
Rome is a very small city everything is in walking distance and the history all around makes the walk even more enjoyable.
Our very fist stop was the Fontana de Trevi to through a couple of coins and make some wishes!
It's going to be a nice relaxed and romantic weekend.
We have booked our trip through and they were great:

did you guys get into the little English tearoom (not that kind) at the bottom left of the Spanish Steps? as i remember it was called something like "Voltaire's". the photo of the steps at dusk is beautiful.
i hope someone told you that there is only one wish you can make Trevi Fountain and that you made it. the wish? to return to Roma again - with the one you love...
