FIREFIGHTERS SUE SAN DIEGO ALLEGING HARASSMENT DURING THE GAY PRIDE AND SOUTH FLORIDA FIREFIGHTERS 2009 CALENDAR :-)

Four San Diego firefighters are suing the city government for damages because they were allegedly sexually harassed while participating involuntarily in back in the 2007 gay pride parade. The four say they were ordered to drive their firetruck in the three-hour parade even though firefighters at previous parades had been subjected to catcalls and sexually suggestive comments by parade watchers. The trial is scheduled to begin today.

San Diego's fire chief, Tracy Jarman, is an open lesbian who called the July 21 parade a "fun event" in which "all employees are encouraged to participate."

I agree that no one should be forced to participate in a Gay pride event, even me I rather not to ... and think how nice it would be to be forced in a "Straight Pride" event and during 3 hours getting sexual comments from old straight nasty women ... How would you like that !!!?



The picture on this post have nothing to do with the San Diego firefighters, those guys are from South Florida and they were getting ready to be photographed for the 2009 firefighter calendar raising money for local charities. I bet this firefighter below won't be suing anytime soon, otherwise it is a lost case for him .... On the cover page Danny from City of Miami Fire Rescue ... OhLaLa!

I'm gay and wouldn't participate in a pride parade, so I can see how someone who isn't probably wouldn't want to participate.
