Paul Newman died at his farmhouse near Westport, Connecticut, his family and close friends at his bedside. Mr. Newman was a vocal supporter of gay rights and gay marriage ... RIP!

I'm glad you guys acknowledged the passing of legendary leading man, Paul Newman. He was great on-screen, a class-act off-screen. He was certainly one of the original hotties of the silver screen, personifying cool and sexy toughness, and continued aging gracefully (and sexily) throughout the years where women (and men) still wanted him even if he was in his 50s, 60s, and yes, 70s. And we mustn't forget what a tremendous humanitarian he was, too, to many charities and organizations while triumphing in his acting career.

Once more, he and his gorgeous wife, Joanne Woodward, are a shining example of long-term commitment, trust, and love that CAN be achieved within a relationship -- something we in the gay community should always learn from instead of being serial daters and bar-n-bed hoppers. Mr. Newman once said of his wife, "Why go out for a burger when I have a steak at home?"

A tremendous talent and classic human being! Mr. Newman will be sorely missed!
