ALIEN LIZARDS SET TO INVADE ABC IN 'V'

As much as we hate the idea od doing an US Remake of Absolutely Fabulous, we think the idea of bringing back those alien lizards is the best idea ever. I was such a fan of this mini series back in the 80's! I hope they are going to keep the same fashion looks ... LOVE the glasses! Hey do you remember the intro!?



ABC is developing a new adaptation of the franchise. "Whenever I mention ‘V’ to anybody, they still have a lot of good memories about the original movie and series. Everybody has that imagery of their uniforms, or the visitor eating a hamster. It’s a science fiction icon and too good to pass up" Scott Peters, co-creator/exec producer.

The original "V" served as an allegory for the Holocaust and Nazi Germany. Peters said he won’t duplicate that concept, except that the new "V" will still focus on what happens when the masses have blind faith in their leaders. [Variety]

You can follow the growing list of actors in weeks to come on IMDB, so far Robert Englund and Marc Singer are back onboard the mother-ship :-)

OMG that could be awesome! i loved the miniseries, as well. the TV show based on it sucked but the idea was fantastic. let's hope they do it right this time!
