DECEMBER FIRST! HAPPY BIRTHDAY ALEK :-)

Today, December 1st 2008 is Alek's birthday. Every day since we have met 10 years ago in Paris I tell myself how lucky I am to have met such a wonderful person. I feel really fortunate to be part of his life. Looking back I can hardly believe all the things we went through and all the things we have accomplished together.

Being able to share and live your dreams with someone you love and trust is the most incredible feeling in the world. So trying to find a present for Alek to tell him how much I love him and how much I admire him is kind of a challenge ...

I snapped the picture above just a couple of hours ago, after spending a day out, we came back home to enjoy the sunset, have a drink and chat. I love and cherish those quiet moments together. So on this special day, I wish Alek even more accomplishments and happiness, and hope to be part of it for ever, Je t'aime.

Tonight we are going to XIV on Sunset with our friends Donald and Francis who are also celebrating their birthdays this week :-) We love them so much and really missed them while they were in Hawaii for the thanksgiving holidays (lucky bastards).

CLEVER OR DESPERATE MOVE!?DIAMONDS GIVE AWAY IN FRENCH MAGAZINE

With the publishing industry suffering badly all around the globe, French fashion magazine L'Officiel came up with a greedy idea. By spending just 4,50 euros to get their December issue of L'Officiel, 3 lucky readers will end up with a 26,000 euros diamond!

If you can catch flies with honey ... why not trying to catch fashionistas and readers with diamonds !? A good marketing strategy but I am not sure this will help selling more magazines in the future, unless they do this for every issue from now on, with Rolexes and all kinds of bling-blings. To be continued ...

A PERFECT WINTER BEACH DAY IN LOS ANGELES

This morning we had to go to Santa Monica and since we were so close to the beach we thought it would be a good idea to go and spend our day by the water.



Venice beach is kind of fun when you go there once in a while. Lots of surfers as you can see on the picture above, and entertainers all along the front walk.



If you are not into watching the show, you can join one of the many beach volley teams in Santa Monica.



I can tell you that it is nice to be able to go to the beach on a warm day, knowing that in two days it's December already!

OHLALA MORE CRAIG HORNER HOTNESS IN LEGEND OF THE SEEKER

This is why you (and I) should be watching 'The Legend of the Seeker'! Craig Horner has a great body and I am sure that if you can take your eyes of his chest for a minute, you'll see that he is a good actor too ;-)

OHLALA HE'S A SINGER TOO! GAEL GARCIA BERNAL

We knew that Gael Garcia Bernal could act, we loved him in Pedro Almodóvar's movie La Mala Educacion, picture below.



But we had no idea Gael Garcia Bernal also could sing! This song 'Quiero que me Quieras' is actually the soundtrack of his latest movie 'Rudo y Cursi' A movie where two siblings rival each other inside the world of professional soccer. Most of the time, ads for fragrances are my favorites, it is fresh, sexy, simple and always features the hottest models. Chad Pinther is no exception in this ad for Dendur fragrance called Zero Grados or 30ªF if you prefer for those who are not familiar with metric measures ;-)



As you can see, there is nothing cold about this ad and its model in fact it's pretty hot, Chad Pinther could totally make an iceberg melt just by looking at it ;-)
