Sebastien Jondeau is Karl's bodyguard and has been for years.
The the other guy is actually Sebastien's "Friend" and Karl welcomed him warmly into the fold.
While Karl is quite eccentric and demanding he has a soft spot for Sebastien and treats him very very well.
Contrary to how it may appear between Sebastien & Karl there has never been anything between the two.
Karl thinks of him like a son.

Thank You, TonyD, for clarifying that fact. I have never believed that Sebastien was some boytoy of Karl's, regardless of his sexual preference. That other man looks nothing like Sebastien. Funny, gay men always loathe it when they are classified as ageist and shallow, but then, in 'fun' practice the behaviour anyway. I know, I know, just making up a story. Sebastien hardly seems the type to throw such a queeny fit in public over something so trifling. He probably just hates being outside in cold weather. The other guy does look familiar. I wonder who he is.
