SMOKED ANGELS!
Today was one relaxed and smoky day for us. More than 30,000 people were evacuated and 800 homes were destroyed over the weekend in Los Angeles, so really we cannot complain about the smoke that surrounds us on the westside. Even if from time to time it gets smoggy it never gets as bad as today.
On the picture above the city 'view' from our place in the hills, usually on the same picture you could see West Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Century City and all the way to Santa Monica and the Ocean ...
Later we took the picture below of the area we live, and clearly ... well smokly it was about the same! But if you squint your eyes you can even see the Hollywood sign ... Check out the sunset moment I have captured from our pool yesterday [Where there is smoke ... there are wildfires]
Why did the fires start? Bonfires?
