AU REVOIR 2008 HELLO 2009!HAPPY NEW YEAR & BONNE ANNEE

Many of you have already jumped into the new year, while here in Los Angeles we are a little lazier and are actually enjoying a hot sunny day, so we will celebrate the new year as late as possible ;-)

We send our love and best wishes to our friends, families and all of you guys who, you may not realize it, have helped us turn our lives around. So we want to take this time of the year, which is just like any another day really, to say THANK YOU and wish you all the best in 2009.

Below a little collage of our 2008 year, and it was an intense year as I have mentioned yesterday but the most amazing thing that happened to us was being able to welcome a little angel in our lives, her name is EVA.

WHAT A DIFFERENCE A YEAR CAN MAKE!

Except being one year older, 365 days can make a huge difference. This year have been for Alek and I a life changing year. New home, new jobs, new city, new country, new friends, new goals, new challenges, new climate ... It seems like today there isn't much left from a year ago.



One of the change was the climate and on this one there is "no acclimation" time needed, we got along with it pretty quickly. It is nice to be able to pool side lounge on the last day of the year.

Honestly I hope the year to come will keep on being as productive as it has been for us, but I am also looking forward a quiet and boring life in California for Alek and I :-) The Jake Gyllenhaal and Reese Whiterspoon's kind Well maybe not that boring ;-)

I believe that the US version of this ad that was shot a couple of months ago in Los Angeles will feature Hayden Christensen [OhLaLa Hayden Christensen Flys For Lacoste]

In fact after giving a closer look at the botle Hayden is holding below, you can see it is not the same Lacoste fragrance. But so far I haven't seen the new ad with Hayden. Have you !?

OHLALA ADAM IN THE CITY!

I must confess that I have never watched a single episode of The Hills (I mean an entire episode) I think every-time I have tried I dropped dead of boredom from my couch. If you don't know how The Hills sounds, it goes something like this:

"OMG this sushi is so good ... yeah so good! OMG is that Spencer over there !? I feel like you know, I mean my life is so ... you see what I mean !? Yeah totally! And we should totally go have dinner at Koi tomorrow, they have like you know, the most amazing sushis ever! And someone told me that Spencer will be there"

So since I was tuned on MTV for a first look at a Brody's bromance I though I would give a try at the new version of The Hills called The City.

Basically it is like a nowadays "Young & The Restless" version, super well filmed, edited and produced only this time it's not in The Hills it's ... in The City. To make it short it is The Hills meets Sex & The City meets Gossip Girl.



It will follow the real fake life of Whitney Port in a kind of fake fashion world with real hot boys, so of course this is where comes my interest in this show ;-)



They did pick a super hot guy in the name of Adam (Jay's roommate).



Jay is like the cool New York musician kind of guy, long hair (girls love that) he uses a lot of the "F" words and those are not like "Fun" "Fashion" or "Fabulous" no I am talking real "F" word! So one conversation with Jay when he is upset sounds like "You BIP don't even BIP with me o I'll BIP you and then I'll BIP your sister ..."

And Jay is also a serial multidater (girls don't like that so much) so drama!

DAVID BECKHAM SHOWS IN NEW TATTOO IN DUBAI

David Beckham unveiled his controversial new tattoo on the football pitch in Dubai today. The biblical proverb written in Hebrew is said to have caused angry scenes in the Beckham house, with Victoria reportedly furious that her husband ignored her pleas not to add to his body art [Daily Mail]

It reads: “My son, do not forget my teaching but keep my commands in your heart.”

"David has always used tattoos to express his thoughts. He believes his tattoos can ward off negativity and help him battle adversity". and it was clear from the first ink that David has an obsession with Michael Scofield from Prison Break who by the way removed all his tattoos in the last season [Wentworth Miller is Tattoo Free]
