Most of you are probably aware of our obsession with model Ryan Barry, that we have interviewed and wrote about several times, but what you might not know is that Alek and Steph (your OhlalaMag hosts ;-) also do fashion and advertising photography for living.

We believe that OhlalaMag should be a place for great photographers to show their work so we never wanted to publish too much of our work. This time we have decided to do so, as Escape To Palm Springs was a personal project we did a few weeks ago, and we hope you will like it.



The location was exceptional and THE HOUSE that has soo much hollywood history was a perfect setting for our project. This is only the first one of 3 different series of photos we took there so there is more to come, and in the new issue of Genre magazine that will be on stands in days to come there is an exception image from that fun afternoon we have spent in the desert.

TRUE BEAUTY GONE WILD

On last week's episode of True Beauty on abc, our favorite contestant, the super hot Joel Rush had to impersonate one of his roommates, Laura in order to win a challenge! I think he did a good job portraying her (and he did because he won that challenge) the fact that he had to roll up his short and lift his T-shirt was just the cherry on the cake :-P

PARTY LIKE AN 'OLYMPIC' STARMichael Phelps caught on pipe

The site News of the World just published a picture of 14-times Olympic gold medal winner Michael Phelps caught with cannabis pipe. See the photo HERE

It was on November 6, weeks after his Beijing triumph, that 23-year-old Phelps surprised students at the University Of South Carolina in Columbia by showing up unannounced at a house party.

The US Olympics Committee, who have pledged to clamp down on drug use, refused to comment, as did USA Swimming and Phelps’ coach Bob Bowman.

Apparently spokesman Clifford Bloxham offered an extraordinary deal to News of the World not to publish the story saying Phelps would become their columnist for three years, host events and get his sponsors to advertise with them!

I personally think people should give him a break!

UPDATE: Michael Phelps has acknowledged that the photo showing him smoking marijuana from a bong is real. He released this statement:

"I engaged in behavior which was regrettable and demonstrated bad judgment. I'm 23 years old and despite the successes I've had in the pool, I acted in a youthful and inappropriate way, not in a manner people have come to expect from me. For this, I am sorry. I promise my fans and the public it will not happen again."

RAFAEL NADAL & FERNANDO VERDASCOMake history and flaunt their bromance

Rafael Nadal has entered the record books after defeating Fernando Verdasco in the longest match ever played at the Australian Open. 5 hours and 14 minutes ladies and gentlemen ... I always knew Rafael Nadal was a god, but to keep it going for more than 5 hours I have to say that I am impressed ;-)

Rafael and Fernando have created such an intense connection during that game that when it was finally over, they both collapsed in each-other arms. Mark, one of our readers has captured this moment and we have it for you in the video below.
