OHLALA EXCLUSIVE!
RYAN BARRY BY SCOTT HOOVER + INTERVIEW
Ryan Barry won Armani Exchange Model Search [Armani Exchange Winner Ryan Barry] and gave us a reason to believe in him. He lives in Palm Springs where he works as a personal trainer [Ryan Fitness]. He is modest and you will rarely catch him bragging about his studies at Cambridge University in England where he was doing a PhD in Cognitive Neuropsychology.
On the top of all of that he is a great person, beautiful from inside and outside, and we are so happy to know him. We recently had an amazing time in Palm Springs [Listening to piano never looked so good] While Scott Hoover took those amazing images we wanted to learn more about who Ryan Barry really is, and that is how this Ohlala Interview came to life.
Q: What turns you on creatively, spiritually or emotionally?
RB: I was going to say leather harness, but that's another direction! haha Philosophy turns me on. I love connecting with someone and asking the big life questions. Discussing God, science, and consciousness under the stars is heaven for me. I get inspired by guessing what else is out there, and wondering what it all means. I guess we attract what we fear and love, and I get excited by both.
Q: Your most marked characteristic?
RB: Well, I have a big, thick, humongous... sense of humor! I'm also proud of my Freddy Kruger, Sean Connery, and Bon Qui Qui impressions!
Q: Where do you see your self 5 years from now?
RB: Relaxing seaside, doing Sean Connery impressions, in my birthday suit, philosophizing about the world... assuming it all still exists. Those Mayans and their damn calendar!
Q: What do you wear when you sleep?
The answer, more questions and photos in the second part of the post.
Q: What do you wear when you sleep?
RB: My birthday suit... and a grin!
Q: Where would you like to live?
RB: I grew up at the beach in California, and I vacation every year in NY. I also lived and studied in the UK and swore that I'd never choose to live in a cold, rainy climate. The law of attraction has drawn me to warm, sunny Palm Springs. I love it! Abroad, I would love to check out Greece or Australia.
Q: What is your favorite occupation?
RB: My favorite occupation is one that expresses knowledge and creativity, offers a sense of productivity and fulfillment, helps others and society, pays the bills, and allows you to be constantly surrounded by hot, sweaty muscles: Personal training!
Q: What do you most value in people?
RB: I value different things in different people. I value everyone's own sense and definition of happiness. As long as people aren't harming each other, we should live as our hearts and minds guide us. Love and let love.
