INTERVIEW WITH CONNOR ROSS DRIFTWOOD
From Tim Sullivan, director of the cult horror-comedy '2001 Maniacs', comes DRIFTWOOD, a contemporary ghost story-cum-murder mystery set in the stark confines of a young men's 'attitude adjustment facility'. We have already interviewed the director and wrote about this great movie, but for its UK DVD release we were lucky to get to ask a few questions probably the cutest of all the actors Connor Ross. Bellow you will find 2 series of photos PRETTY SCARY, and the PSYCHO REDUX, both shoot by: PAULA BURR.
Q: What turns you on creatively, spiritually or emotionally?
CR: When I am acting with someone, and the connection between the two of us is so real and we are so "in the moment" that the emotion becomes TRUE emotion. Being truthful can make a switch to being true, when real emotion overtakes the scene. Its is a really awesome feeling. So I guess you could say that turns me on?? haha.
Q: Your most marked characteristic?
CR: Ummmm... I guess it would be that I am a nice guy? Or that I am EXTREMELY charming. ;-)
Q: When and where were you happiest?
CR: For the most part, I am always pretty happy. I try to make the most of my life and see the good parts of it at all times, or as I like to say, "Its all good."
Q: What is your most treasure d possession?
CR: I think everyone's most treasured possession, along with mine, would have to be friends and family. And a creative mind.
Q: What do you most value in people?
CR: I value Honesty. I also think that all people should have a devil's advocate. It is always good to be able to see things from different perspectives.
Q: Where would you like to live?
CR: At some point in my life I think I'd like to live on the beach somewhere. Not really sure exactly where, just somewhere with a nice view, nice beach, and close to some good waves.
Q: Who are your favorite heroes of fiction?
CR: Wow, there are so many. I mean my whole LIFE is movies and fiction. I'd have to relate back to my earliest "favorite fiction character," Ethan Hunt(Tom Cruise) from the Mission Impossible series.
Q: Your favorite virtue?
CR: Love.
Q: What do you wear when yousleep ?
CR: hmmmmm, this is an odd question. haha sorry. But generally just some basketball shorts, or boxers.
Q: Where do you see your self 5 years from now ?
CR: Well. I know where I hope to see myself. haha. I'd like to be comfortably established and known actor in the industry, and have my own house somewhere.
