IT'S A BUYERS MARKET!!!!
Mariah Carey puts an offer on a $125 million house
It's a buyers market and cleaver Mariah Carey knows that! That is why she is planning on spending some pocket money (around $125 million that is) on 'Fleur de Lys' a French castle (inspired by Vaux le Vicomte in Paris) located in Holmby Hills, forming with Beverly Hills and Bel Air the "Platinum Triangle" of Los Angeles.
A couple of years ago while we were living in Paris, Alek and I paid a visit to the real thing and I can tell you that Vaux Le Vicomte is a must see if you go to France [La Vie De Chateau / Vaux Le Vicomte] Vaux Le Vicomte is also known historically for being the place where Eva Longoria tied the knot with Tony Parker [Vaux Le Vicomte Goes Hollywood] Ok it may not be the most famous event held at Vaux Le Vicomte but it is the latest ;-)
'Fleur de Lys' is also known as the world's most expensive estate ... really !!? I just love Mariah Carey she so out of this world ...
It was built by Texan billionaire David Saperstein. The house is on the market for the past two years and currently owned by Saperstein's ex-wife Suzanne, whom he ditched for the childrens' nanny over 2 years ago [source] If everything is bigger in Texas this house proves it's even bigger when Texans relocate to the Holmby Hills.
If the deal does not go through and you are interested in spending $125 million check out more photos of 'Fleur de Lys' below.
