L.A. PLAGE
What do you do in Los Angeles when it is hot and sunny !? You go to L.A. Plage.
We haven't seen so many people at the beach in a long time! With such a great weather the beach sounded like a good idea to many Angelinos and tourists.
It was just as busy as on a summer day, except that the date on the calendar is still indicating that we are in winter, every single element was there to make you feel like it's July!
Of course as you can see below I did strike a pose for the camera ... and the camera loves me what can I do !? ;-)
Our camera also loved many people today. Sun + beach = hotness. When I go somewhere I can take up to a 1000 pictures in one day and in fact that's exactly what I did today so I have made a selection just for you.
Believe me wherever you are in the world right now, if it is cold and rainy or even snowing outside those photos will make you feel like you were with us on the sunny beaches of Los Angeles.
Even located right next to each-other, Santa Monica is much more relaxed than Venice beach, as you can see on the very first picture of this post, the famous 'walk of freaks' (that's how I call this portion of the beach, if you've been to venice you'll know why) was pretty crowded!
While walking south, towards Venice beach, I took this picture (below left) of a plane taking off from LAX and using my super zoom I realized that it was my former office taking off. I have to confess that it was quite satisfying to see an Air France plane leaving L.A. without me onboard for once ;-) Today I really feel like home in Los Angeles and as much as our 10 years in Paris were incredible, we are so happy to be here.
As always the sunset was incredible and I could not help to take a shot of the man of my life :-) This weekend was our 'wedding' anniversary, 9 years of 'legal' union ... at least, as legal as it gets in France. Alek and I have met ... a long time ago, last century, but it seems like it was yesterday, well maybe not yesterday but let's say it seems like it was last week ;-)
Now we invite you to put on your swimsuit and sunglasses on (that's all you need really) and enjoy our most extensive gallery so far with 42 incredible photos of L.A. plage.
