WATCHMEN IS A GLOWING MOVIE
Movies are out on friday here in US, but for those who can't really wait a couple of hours and are willing to waste a good night week sleep, there is the midnight show. Last night 1,595 theaters nationwide, including 124 IMAX have screened 'Watchmen' all of which sold out, forcing the addition of about 20 screenings at 3 a.m. cashing $4.6 million... yes Watchmen is off to a very good start but still short in comparison with Twilight ($7 million) and The Dark Knight with a whooping $18.5 million!
Alek and I went to the Imax in Century City for a 2.30pm screening and an outdoor lunch at Pink Taco!
The movie is great ... bla, bla bla (I am not a movie critic anyway) my only advice is that there is one question you have to answer before purchasing a ticket. Are you ok to look at a massive glowing blue penis swinging around for 2 hours plus !? If so then dive in ...
Watchman is rated R for strong graphic violence, sexuality, nudity and language. I did not really notice the language but was I really listening to the movie !? I think I was ...
Director Zack Snyder (who is handsome by the way, that's him below) recently revealed in an interview that he actually trimmed a few scenes of full-frontal (computer-animated) nudity from the theatrical release, but will restore them in the director's cut which will have a limited theatrical release in July before appearing on DVD.

Dr Manhattan, responsible for the glowing part is played by Billy Crudup. Don't try to look at the trailers, they have delicately removed 'it' Believe me you can't miss it and it is even bigger I mean better on IMAX ;-) Oh and if you think that they made Billy Crudup look bigger than check out the gallery below for a closer look at the original costume that Billy was wearing, it is not as obvious as the final product but it is pretty revealing!
If like us you love Patrick Wilson (below) that's another reason to jump and see this movie. There are some pretty steamy scenes. But it's not like we haven't seen Patrick's sexy butt before, that is if you have seen Little Children with Kate Winslet [Patrick Wilson Exposed in Little Children]
