MORE SHAME FROM CALIFORNIA! HOMOPHOBIC SUNNY DAY IN L.A.
OMG! Excuse my French but what a fucking ignorant bitch!
Tonight Miss California just made a fool of herself and brought more shame to the great state of California.
I have just checked and she is from San Diego and went to San Diego Christian College to become a special education teacher for children in elementary school (scary I know) Carrie wants people to remember her as being compassionate and real!
Compassionate, she will have to look at the definition in her dictionary one more time (not the Bible, the dictionary) and real, well she managed to be a real dumb ass indeed. When she was asked the question by Perez Hilton on 'Vermont became the fourth state to legalize same sex marriage Do you think every state should follow ...?' Watch the video below to listen to her answer.
Ironically today I have experienced my first homophobic attack, it did not go further than words but it was extremely shocking.
To make my long story short, one man about my age, started to say to his friend that he won't be sitting next to any faggets.
Then the insults kept on coming from him for about 20 minutes. Fag, faggot, fucking faggot ... his vocabulary was extremely elaborate. Adding things such as 'people like you should be forbidden in public places'.
One of the most shocking things was not just his ignorance, pretty much like Miss California, but the fact that all the people sitting around us were pretending not to hear a single word of what he was saying.
Then his friend who was laughing to his remarks for the first 5 minutes apparently felt uncomfortable and just asked him to leave with him.
It felt like a bad dream, I kept repeating myself that this could not be happening right now. When he left me in complete shock I could not help but think of the people out there who have to go through this kind of thing everyday (sometimes from their own parents) and those who suffers from physical abuses.
Gladly my experience ended there but it could have turned bad. I was not able to say a word to him for several reasons. It left me speechless and the attention he had created would have been even more humiliating for him if I did say a single word. And as much as I love this country, I know that people can carry guns and pretty much shoot anyone they feel like at the first sign of dementia.
I really felt like I also was a witness of something that has no meaning, no sense, and taking part of it in an endless argument could have left me lifeless.
This does not mean silence is the answer, but the answer must be legal. Our rights MUST be recognized! So people won't have to feel ashamed of such horrific attacks, so kids won't hang themselves for receiving such a treatment everyday in school. Gay teens need to know they are normal and that they have the same rights then any other person.
So a couple of hours later looking at Miss California saying something like that, really really made me upset!
