Belgrade Fashion Week is the premium fashion event not only in Serbia but in the region of the South East Europe. It is also the oldest Fashion Week in whole East Europe. Launched in 1996, in turbulent and troubled times for the Balkans it grew up to be, 12 years later, the most important and the most talked about fashion event in that part of Europe and also the real generator of the regional fashion scene and career launcher for many young designers. Confirmation for that came from the global satellite Fashion TV channel itself, which recently opened FTV SEE (Fashion TV South East Europe) in Belgrade.
