OBAMA FACES PROTESTS IN BEVERLY HILLS
Tonight a protest took place in Beverly Hills right in front of the Hilton where President Obama was attending a fundraiser. Among the protestors, recently discharged under the 'Don't Ask, Don't Tell'policy Lt. Dan Choi maybe waiting for a response from the President to the letter signed by 136,000 people asking the president not to fire Lt. Choi by ending DADT!
“The president made a promise when he made his speech about hope,” said Rick Jacobs, who chairs the Courage Campaign, an organizer of the protest. “I bought that promise and I still buy that promise, but it’s time for him to start fulfilling that promise for all Americans.” Can President Obama stay on the mute mode concerning the LGBT rights !? Yes he can!
