TOO GAY FOR THE GUINNESS WORLD RECORD!?

On the Guinness World Records you can find pretty much everything and mostly anything. I mean that's the fun part of it right !? From the attempt to break the world record for the number of snails placed on the face for 10 seconds (true!) to the tallest man ... and one of the latest record was the world's largest bikini parade with 281 participants!



On a recent trip to Key West we've learned that the Guinness World Record did not want to register the gigantic gay flag that was carried down Duval Street and dipped in both the Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico.



This is the response Tom Wheaton president of the Key West Gay and Lesbian Community Center which spearheaded the flag event got from the Guinness World Record:

The rainbow flag that was carried down Duval Street and dipped in both the Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico was not a flag it was a banner and they do not have a 'banner' category. The justification was that the Key West flag was not in proper proportions to consider it a flag. They took the position that it was a 'banner' not a flag, thus disqualifying it for submission.

Isn't that a bummer .... !?

I understand you gotta have rules and 'standards' but sometimes a little help to minorities trying to show themselves in a positive and fun way cannot hurt right !!!? I am sure this could fall into some category already existing right !? They have a category for a woman putting snails but nothing for flags !? I mean banners (excuse me) We know that Gayland isn't really a country but they do not have any problems to find a category for a bikini parade, under what !? Stupid girls who should get a job !? I wonder if a transgender took part of the parade would have disqualify the event !?



Does the Guiness World Reccord has issues with 'gay' things!? If you type word like GAY for example in their search engine ... it does not match any documents!

I wonder if there is a category for the world's biggest hypocrite?
