L'APPEL DE LA PLAGE!
Today we went to Santa Monica for what was supposed to be just a quick lunch on the 3rd street promenade but the white sand and the waves looked too tempting from the top of the cliff so we have decided to take an extra couple of hours to enjoy the beach.
One of the reason why I love the beaches in SoCal is that they are so spread out that just the edge by the water is actually crowded, otherwise you can lay on the sand in the middle of the beach like you're the only one in the world.
To our biggest surprise the water was actually warm! I am not a big fan of swimming in the sea when I can be quiet at home by the pool but I might give it a try sometimes soon.
