PETER FACINELLI IN NURSE JACKIE

Nurse Jackie will premiere on Showtime next monday (June 8th) but right now you can watch the first episode online. So that's what we did :-)

We absolutely LOVE this new series, Edie Falco who plays Nurse Jackie is amazing and I am so glad they chose Peter Facinelli as the Dr. Fitch Cooper. You may not have recognize him, but Peter is the hunky vampire dad aka Carlisle Cullen from The Twilight saga!



I am not going to spoil much by saying that Peter plays a total jerk who happen to have some kind of Tourette syndrome. Every-time he gets nervous he act in inappropriate sexual manner ... that sounds promising! In this first episode Nurse Jackie found out on her own expenses ... I cannot wait for him to be stressed out by another male colleague ;-)

Hopefully, writers and out lesbians Linda Wallem and Liz Brixius will be able to keep the multi-dimensional scope on a fascinating complex Jackie surrounded by deliciously real supporting cast including Peter Facinelli as a macho pain in the you-know-what Dr. Cooper and Haaz Sleiman as her confidant and fellow nurse, the out gay man Mo-Mo playes by Lebanese actor Haaz Sleiman.
