Mark shot so many photos using a film camera, which means most of his work never been featured on the web which gives to his work this nostalgic feel of photography. Looking at those photos is like remembering falling in love for the first time, it's some kind of undiscovered treasure that we invite you to discover on OhLaLa.
This first series of photos with Clay was shot in 2002 at the Fife's resort on the Russian River in Guerneville, a small town in the Sonoma county California just 70 miles north of San Francisco.
The Russian River has a large gay community with gay resorts and bars completely unpretentious surrounded by California's top wineries and redwood-trees! This sounds like paradise isn't it!?
Alek and I are planning a road trip for this summer to discover the northern part of California, the parks, the wineries and the Russian River sounds like a nice stop :-)
