BACKSTAGE AT JOHN GALLIANO'S SUMMER 2010 by GIOVANNI DI NUNZIO
OhLaLa reader and photographer Giovanni Di Nunzio covered the backstage at the summer 2010 John Galliano fashion show in Paris. The event took place at the abandoned Molitor pool complex near the Bois de Boulogne in Paris.

This pool opened in 1929 and it is best known for its art deco and to be the place where the “world’s smallest bathing suit” aka Bikini was flaunted in 1946.
It was abandoned in 1989 and subject to destruction but saved at the last minuted by being listed at the Monument Historiques. The rebirth and complete renovation of this historic Parisian pool is set for 2012.
