IT'S GETTING HOTTER IN L.A.
Today temperatures went up in Los Angeles when sunset boulevard unveiled a new Calvin Klein billboard on the strip featuring Eva Mendes and Jamie Dornan [See all the photos from this ad campaign here]
Later in the day while driving on Mulholland drive we've noticed a smoke cloud rising on the horizon. At this time of the year and as you can see on the photo below, things are pretty dry around here. Unless it's the backyard of a multi million $$ mansion there is no such a thing as green in the hills.
We later found out that the Getty Center and St. Mary's College have been evacuated because of a nearby brush fire. The fire has burned 80 acres of brush at Getty Center Drive above Sunset Boulevard. The Getty Center is home to a priceless collection of pre-20th century European paintings and other works of art, most notably Vincent Van Gogh's 1889 oil on canvas "Irises," among the most expensive paintings ever sold. 250 firefighters were deployed.
That was calling for some cool down, Alek jumped in the pool (forgetting his speedo) and I personally meditated under water, it's not as fun as levitation but once in a while it's good to change ;-)
