HOLLYWOOD'S NATURAL SPECIAL EFFECTS
Ironically in a city where many things are fake, even natural disasters look like something out of a bad movie ... the smoke column rising over the Hollywood hills today was pretty scary.
Mandatory evacuations were extended today into neighborhoods in the canyons on the northwestern edge of Altadena, Glendale, La Crescenta and Big Tujunga Canyon as the fire tripled in size and is still spreading in all directions. The fire remains only 5 percent contained. Officials said they did not expect to contain it until September 8.
Today in the afternoon temperatures went in the 110, which is about 44.5 Celsius (as you can see on the picture below, we have opted for the Celsius option in our car) I will never get used to the Farenheights anyway ...
