Hollywood is all about creation and imagination, so it has no limits. Which can go good or bad. A new ad for a South African investment company imagines what the life of James Dean would have been like if he did not died in a car crash at the age of 24.
lifetime achievement Oscar, director, protesting against the Vietnam War, and as a very much Brad-Pitt-like humanitarian ambassador. The film was shot over 14 months, with a cast of 300 and a crew of 150. The actor who plays Dean, a mechanic from Cape Town named Des Erasmus, underwent two months of coaching for the part.
Of course we like to think legends would have lived to our 'legend' expectations ... unfortunately that is rarely the case for those who did not died tragically at a very young age. See the ad below.
