LEONA LEWIS ATTACKED DURING BOOK SIGNING IN LONDON
Just minutes after this picture was taken [above] British singer Leona Lewis was "understandably shaken" after a man attacked her during a book signing in central London this afternoon, a spokeswoman for her record label said. A 29-year-old man was arrested after he punched Lewis in the face at the Waterstones bookstore in Piccadilly Circus at 4:36 p.m. according to a Scotland Yard statement.
“walked up there with the book, she signed it, and as she looked up he just punched her.” Leona Lewis ran out of the room covering her eye while security dragged the man out of the bookstore, who, according to another eyewitness, “Was just laughing—he thought it was funny.” [source] - VIDEO in the second part of this article.
Among the 100's reasons why I would not like to be a public figure or celebrity, this is on top of my list. I am not even a celebrity and I do not like people around me ... there are some serious sick people out there. The guy could have been doing the same thing with a knife or any weapons ...
I just feel so bad for Leona who seems to be such a nice person :-(
