ANA LOCKING - SPRING IN COLOR
After a season of gray and black, Ana Gonzales is painting the new collection for ANA LOCKING in flashy colors. The cuts are somewhat unexpected, as they mix formal with comfortable, while clearly making a colorful statement. This season’s concept expresses that “from the moment we accept that medicines exist in that space between life and death, and we accept that pleasure produces a relief of pressures, we find that any kind of antidote, in this case fashion, even without a reason, can supply vital, emotional and sense relief. Accepting this necessity means we’re still alive.”
We love the use of silk organza and satin as those materials make the clothes dance and intensify the feeling of comfort. And add to all of the some padded sholders from 80's and you are looking at another take on what our fashion might look like in the future. We love when designers know how to have fun while creating beautiful clothes.
