IT'S SHOWTIME IN VEGAS /LE REVE AND PHANTOM

After much hesitation when we have discovered ZZYZX we finally made it to Las Vegas yesterday afternoon ;-)

Usually I am not a big fan of Las Vegas, we don't really go out and we don't gamble so you may think what is here for us !!!? Well, let me tell you there's plenty of things for those who like us are not into drinking all night and spending our savings financing Casinos ...

Las Vegas is a dream come true for us who enjoy restaurants, it has the best chefs of the planet and some of the most amazing restaurants you will ever go to, but Vegas has also some pretty incredible shows.

Last night we saw Le Rêve at the fabulous Wynn hotel. We have heard only the best and we were really excited to see it.





Of course it is strictly forbidden to take any pictures during the show, so I did one before and one after.





The entire show is incredible. Our seats were pretty cool since we had screens to see what was going on backstage before and during the show. Since as I have mentioned it was forbidden to take photos during the show, I can only share this image of one of the dancers getting ready ;-) I do have to say that as much as the screens were fun before the show, the light coming from the tv monitors was kind of annoying for the rest of the show.





Then tonight we saw, Phantom at The Venetian and let me tell you this is the BEST production we have ever seen. It is just spectacular, I am trying to think of something appropriate to say but really there is not words that could describe the experience. If you come to Vegas Phantom should be on top of your must do list.

I am glad we did Le Rêve the night before because our nights went from fantastic to amazing. We loved it so much that we will come back to see it once more sometime soon.

SMALLVILLE /TOM WELLING IS LOOKING GOOD

We do receive from time to time complains from you my lovely readers about our lack of coverage concerning Smallville.



I totally agree with you that we should pay more attention to this show and Tom Welling in particular but no one complained like Mark. Mark was so upset after us that he sent us screenshots from a scene featuring a sexy shirtless Tom Welling from last Friday’s episode called Pandora ;-)



So now I feel like I have to share with you. Thank you Mark for sharing, and as I promissed you Smallville is now on my tivo :-P

Back in August Taylor Lautner was photographed by Mark Seliger in Malibu. Today Rolling Stone is proudly flaunting its new cover featuring the young Hollywood actor.

"What Lautner has done is turn his love of martial arts into superstardom as werewolf Jacob in the Twilight series. “This could have happened to anyone who played Jacob,” Lautner tells RS. “It’s Twilight. It’s not me personally.” But his hard work is inescapable: he started learning karate at age six and moved on to Xtreme Martial Arts, relocating with his family to Los Angeles to pursue acting and stomaching the bullying that came along with it. He put on 30 pounds of muscle between the first two Twilight films. WELCOME TO FABULOUS ZZYZX

We were on our way to Las Vegas when we saw the sign for ZZYZX road in the middle of the Mojave Desert, we though, forget Vegas, with a name like that this place must be fun as hell ;-)



So we took the exit to see if the location would fit our standards! Which must include a cellphone reception for Alek, 3G if possible ;-) Believe it or not the signal was actually better than in the Hollywood Hills where we live ... go figure!



What made us changed our mind was the accommodations, clearly it would not have the amenities of a suite on the strip ...



More seriously we love this kind of places in the middle of nowhere, it's like a movie set and a perfect location for an editorial.













After a couple of pictures and a drink, we jumped back in our car and drove to Las Vegas. Our friend Vincent is visiting us from Paris so we though this week, which is kind of quiet due to Thanksgiving was the perfect occasion for a couple of days out of Los Angeles.
