LAS VEGAS LA NUIT
We could not have left Las Vegas without a little photo session la nuit.
First we would like to give a toast to Bacchus [pictured above] the dear Greek god of wine and intoxication ... which makes him probably the most popular god in Vegas, or at least the busiest ;-)
It was nice to see Paris la nuit, even tho we will be there in a couple of weeks, it was nice to enjoy it with mild temperatures. As much as we am so excited to see our friends and family, we are not really looking for the cold and probably the rain ... but we will go back to Europe this summer again for some sun too.
The fountains of the Bellagio are always amazing to see. I am so glad they finally stopped playing My Heart Will Go On by Celine Dion !!!!
Those of you familiar with Ohlala for years may remember how much we enjoy taking photos that involve 'reflections', as they give a new dimension to the picture and are also surprising and fun! Above the Paris Hotel and the Bellagio and below the The Venetian and Treasure Island.
One of our favorite hotels is the Wynn, so many amazing restaurants and shops, that we could have almost stayed in this resort for the entire trip.
We always pay a visit to Paris, for a lunch at Mon Ami Gabby and to play at the OhLaLa slot ;-) And I have to say that Alek is pretty lucky when it comes to play and win ...
But what we really like in fake plaster Paris is the crêperie :-P My favorite the Nutella ... there is nothing like a good crêpe in the middle of the nuit!
The Mirage hotel also has a cool volcano erupting nightly every hour! Across the street The Venetian where you can go for a gondola ride ... I mean if you are into tacky things that is probably a very fun thing to do ;-)
Inside it's not as bad as one may think! It's almost like being in Venice [if you have never been to Venice, Italy of course]
Below the entrance of TAO, the spiritual dinning experience, which on weekends is more like a temple packed with girls dressed as filles de joie and guys ready to spend the night with them. Not that spiritual to me, but that is a part of American Dream too, for some spirituality is where the heart is and in this case that is in the wallet and the pants.
Voila, later Vegas ...
