Back in August we have discovered the first trailer for Starz original new series Spartacus Blood & Sand with the hunky Andy Whitfield as Spartacus [Spartacus Blood & Sand Official Trailer] Check out those new posters for this bloody sexy series starting in one month [January 22]





On the picture below left Crixus played by Manu Bennett, aka the top gladiator and on the right Varro played by Jai Courtney, a Spanish gladiator who sold himself to pay off his gambling debts, a good fighter who follows orders ... all this sounds very promising to me :-)

Wow... at 0.17 is Craig Parker - late of LOTR - Haldir, I wouldn't forget that voice - or face. I'll be watching.

I have seen the first two episodes and there is too much violence and blood for my taste so I won't be able to watch it. Fast forwarding through the program I found the program masterfully produced with some great actors and if you are not squeamish I'm sure you will enjoy it.
