PETA NEW ANGELIC AD DOES NOT FLY WITH THE CATHOLIC LEAGUE
A new PETA advertisement featuring model and Dancing with the Star Joanna Krupa wearing nothing but a crucifix is "totally inappropriate" and exploitative of Christian symbols.
"I think worrying about going topless in a photo shoot or film is really ridiculous," said Joanna "And the fact is, Pope John Paul said, since we were born naked, it is art, and it's just showing a beautiful body that God created."
Krupa issued a statement responding to the Catholic League, saying: "As a practicing Catholic, I am shocked that the Catholic League is speaking out against my PETA ads. I'm doing what the Catholic Church should be doing, working to stop senseless suffering of animals, the most defenseless of God's creation."
LOL! The montage is so badly done but I am loving the look on the dog's faces. I bet they're all males.
I wish Jamie Bamber would have wore the same crucifix :-P

i love that you noted that, as it's true since hate has been so much a part of multiple platforms over the past decade -- including glbt people. as someone who has worked with some of the more positive aspects of churches and monasteries, i have seen some deplorable reps.
the shanghai piece reminds me of a gynos office.
what a beautiful day.
