NAPOLI'S SPORTS CLUB THREATEN TO SUE PLAYER FOR POSING IN HIS UNDERWEAR
I know what you are thinking after reading the tittle. Why an italian soccer team will sue someone for something that is happening in Argentina !?
The story is simple, Argentinian magazine Romeo features in its last issue pictures of Argentina’s National League soccer-player Jesús Dátolo posing in his underwear.
The photos were taken by local fashion photogrpaher Andy Cherniavsky, the player have recently been "imported" by Argentine iconic soccer club “Boca Juniors” from his Italian team in Napoli.
Napoli’s sports club president, Aurelio de Laurentis, is now claiming that Datolo’s conduct of posing for the magazine implies a violation of the image of Napoli’s sports club, and is now threatening to sue the player for damages. Oh do I need to mention that Romeo is a magazine mostly read by "men who likes men" would it have been different if the player posed for Cosmopolitan a magazine for "women read by men who likes men" ... do I sense a little homophobia from Napoli’s president!? Is the player going to be punished for being gay friendly !?
