CRISTIANO RONALDO for EMPORIO ARMANI UNDERWEAR + FLYING COMMANDO STYLE

It was announced back in October 2009 [CRISTIANO RONALDO TO FOLLOW THE BULGE-STEP OF DAVID BECKHAM] Today here is our first look at Cristiano photographed by Mert & Marcus for Emporio Armani.

And I agree with VGL who says that the idea sounded better than the actual picture. I think they made a mistake by picking someone we saw already so many times in his underwear or speedo. This does not makes me appreciate this new campaign as much as I did with David Beckham. Cristiano should have been the spokesperson of an underwear campaign back in 2005 when he first started to get around, like the Pepe Jeans campaign which was pretty sexy.

I love Mert & marcus but those photos looks like a lookbook when a campaign should be in some exotic and fun places.

Even tho Cristiano is now the spokesman of an underwear brand, he like to fly commando style ... as you can see in those photos, way much sexier than the EA campiagn I have to say ;-)

Cristiano looks great in candid paparazzi shots, but he looks terrible all dolled up for a fashion shoot. Too pretty to begin with, maybe.

I totally agree on your assessment of this one. They really could have gotten a better locale for these. Some of the poses are rather cheesy too - and what is with the overplucked eyebrows?!

He does like his features have been painted on. Perhaps following the old adage that if you wear the underwear you can look like that. To artificial for my liking.
