EMMA WATSON & HER BROTHER ALEX for BURBERRY S/S 2010
Back in June 2009 we have discovered the first images of actress Emma Watson for the fall winter campaign of British label Burberry. This time around Emma is back for the spring summer campaign shot by Mario Testino in London and Alex her brother joined the gang.
The photos are great even tho it looks more like a 'Burberry for Kids' campaign. But you should know that Burberry may have been founded in 1856 but its creator was only 21 year old! So I guess the spirit of Burberry was waiting for this much needed rejuvenating image.
As far as I am concerned I cannot help but associate Burberry with my grand mother ... she was a very classy and elegant French woman who loved her labels (may her fashionista soul rest in peace) and Burberry was one of them ... so I guess it will always remain for me something a little tiny bit has-been and mainly elderly.
But here in America where all is fresh and new and everything must remain fresh and new I guess they may attract a younger crowd and judging by those photos the main target would be something between 12 and 17 year old!
